Implied, spread, total
The points the betting market expects each team to score tonight, its spread and the game total (ESPN's line). Implied points are the strongest single number on the board: they already carry pace and both defenses.
Environment
Implied points against the league's average team score last season. +5% means the market expects this team to score 5% more than an average team, and fantasy points move with it almost one for one.
Pace and defense
Possessions per 48 minutes for the game (both teams) and the points the opponent allows per 100 possessions, this season blended with last season until about 10 games are in. Rank 1st = allows the most.
Guards, wings, bigs
Flip on "show position matchup scores": the environment plus how the opponent does against that position beyond its overall level, shrunk by how much that repeats. Tested on 2024-26, position matchups added almost nothing beyond overall defense and pace, so the environment does most of the work.
Out and questionable
From the projected lineups, with each player's minutes per game over his last 10 games: the minutes the team has to replace.
Cold and hot
Players shooting below (cold) or above (hot) their own norm over the last 10 games, in DraftKings points per game. Cold shooters tend to bounce back and hot ones to cool off: see the expected points page and its nightly tracker.
