EPA (expected points added) measures how much each play moved the offense's expected points, from down, distance and field position. Pass is per dropback (throws, sacks and scrambles); rush is per designed carry (QB scrambles left out). Offense rank 1 = best; defense rank 1 = allows the most. Garbage time = win probability under 10% or over 90%. Success = share of plays with positive EPA.
Best matchups on the slate
Every offense unit (pass and rush) against what its opponent allows. Edge = the offense's number plus what the defense allows, both measured against the league average: positive means the offense should do better than usual.
